Western Michigan University DMR TRS

Western Michigan University has received permission from the FCC, to operate a new DMR TRS that will replace their old Motorola Type-II trunking system. Can anyone give a listen to the following frequencies and let us know if the new system is on the air or not? Likewise, any information on what type of DMR TRS it is would also be helpful.

I was on the east side of Kalamazoo for just a short time on Monday, and I got a real good signal on the control channel: 858.73750. No traffic monitored, but again I was only over there for about 30 minutes.

I'll keep on eye on this.

I was under the impression that Western just used MPSCS. The more you know.....

I listened to the control channel yesterday, sounds like a TRBO signal.

At their license License - WPPH813 - WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY - Frequencies Summary In Thunderbolts original post he also shows Mototrbo emissions and If you click on the frequency at the link above it does show emissions of 7K60FXD and 7K60FXE which are Mototrbo. Looks like we lost another one regrettably.
