Since Philadelphia airport is so close to the state line, the following search was done for PA, DE, and NJ.
These results are only from searching the RRDB, not FCC, etc., and might need verification.

  • 462.5125 DCS :743 >>> Parkway - Taxi Dispatch at Philadelphia Airport
  • 131.000 >>> US Airway Operations at Philadelphia Airport
  • 129.800 >>> US Airways - Load Control at Philadelphia Airport
  • 451.525 DSC :114 >>> ?
  • 451.200 >>> possibly Baycomm, Inc.
  • 141.225 >>> ?
  • 147.1950 CTCSS :100.0 >>> K3MN, Delaware County, PA
  • 422.6875 CTCSS :179.9 >>> ?
  • 442.4000 CTCSS :131.8 >>> ?
  • 442.7000 CTCSS :131.8 >>> N3KZ University of PA Wide Area Linked Repeater in Camden NJ
  • 451.0750 >>> WSG792 - Oyster Creek Nuclear Generation Station Utilities / Maintenance Ch 3, in Ocean County, NJ
  • 451.2000 >>> ? WPZS655 - Oyster Creek Nuclear Station - Security Ch1, or possibly Baycomm Inc, in PA
  • 451.3000 >>> ?
  • 452.1250 DCS:116 >>> ?
  • 452.13750 >>> possibly WPFS812 Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital Security, in Delaware County, PA, OR WPKK276 Delaware Park Racetrack in New Castle, DE
  • 452.7625 >>> UPS at Philadelphia Airport
  • 453.7500 >>> ? used for police in NJ, and Fire/EMS and police in PA
  • 455.4125 CTCSS :233.6 >>> ?
  • 461.3500 >>> ?
  • 461.8875 DCS:223 >>> Preflight Parking at Philadelphia Airport
  • 462.13750 >>> Harrah's Casino in Delware County, PA
  • 462.2750 >>> ?
  • 462.5000 DCS: 565 >>> Enterprise Rent-a-Car at Philadelphia Airport
  • 463.9875 DCS:743 >>> Air Wisconsin Maintenance at Philadelphia Airport
  • 464.2500 >>> ?
  • 820.6625 >>> ?
  • 851.2500 >>> PA-STARNet
  • 852.7125 P25 NAC 3A7H >>> PA-STARNet ?
  • 856.9625 >>> possibly Chester County Fire/Police or NJ State Police or Delaware River Port Authority

A multi-state search was used by doing the following:
  • Go to the RR Database page.
  • Login to main RR login (at top of screen)
  • Scroll down to section "Search and Reporting Options"

  • In subsection "Frequency Search by State", scroll the list of states to find Delaware.
  • Single click on Delaware to highlight it in the list.
  • Hold down the CTRL key, and scroll down the list to "New Jersey". While holding CTRL key, single click on "New Jersey" to highlight it also.
  • Hold down the CTRL key, and scroll down the list to "Pennsylvania". While holding CTRL key, single click on "Pennsylvania" to highlight it also.
  • This has selected multiple-state search, so that DE, NJ, PA are searched all at the same time.

  • Now, enter the first frequency in the box above the list of states.
  • Click the "Search" button below the "Tone Filter" box.
  • After the results-screen appears, continue with the next search-frequency by entering it into the box in the middle of the screen, just above the results-list.
  • Continue in this manner as needed until all frequencies-of-interest are searched.

Hope this helps,

If you're an aero scanning enthusiast one of the reference materials you'll need and find very useful is an FAA publication, printed for regions of the country that specify all of the information for each airport in the USA. It's available from the FAA online in digital form, free.

Pilots use it to find all of the airport facility information. It's call the "Airport Facility Directory". Google that and you'll find it at the FAA online.

Another thing you might want to do is purchase the book for the region that you visit. You can buy it from any FBO (Fixed Base Operator) airport. Don't be timid. Tell them you'd like the one that would cover airports you visit. You don't need to be a pilot. They are very inexpensive, under $6 and they are replaced/revised every 56 days. The current one is good until Jan 8 2015.

You can order them online at pilot shops too. You'll be glad you bought one.

453.750 is the old airport police band under the old Philly uhf system hmmm.

It used to be J band, citywide. Philly still has a valid license for it, good until February. SEPTA has valid licenses as well.

453.45 was airport police and 453.85 was airport ops/maint back in the day

453.75 was Police J-band and 453.55 was Police M-band. Rounding out the citywide police was T-band at 453.25 and H band at 453.40. H-band later became Far-Northeast band. There was also U-band which was for commanders and a phone patch prior to cell phones. That became 25-band later (25th district).
