Discriminator Tap Schematic,Is this correect?

Tomorrow Im Tapping my BCT15X
Been a while,,,Couple Q's before I go to it..

Dose the diagram in the pic look propper?
and What is the minimum gauge wire I should use?..

you almost got it... :)

The capacitor keeps external D.C. out of the radio circuitry and the resister reduces the line level audio to manageable levels.
I used 24 gauge wire, but you can go smaller if you like.

I tapped my BCT-15 about 1.5 years ago now and I used the same parts and layout. To make sure it would last, I used one of those mini thru-hole circuit boards that R/S sells in a small box. I think you get like 5 or 6 of these boards. This way I could do "right" the first time and also make sure there was no stress on any of the wires or components.

I had to drill a hole into the back of the BCT-15 case but it looks very clean and works 100% great -- with Unitrunker or DSDPlus.

HAHA..Yes,Today I picked up the PCB with the predrilled grid from RS..Same thoughts..I did a couple radios like that years back and it was easier to manage,,some 2 sided 3M tape to hold it against the casing..Lasted very well...Nice and clean too!

Great minds thinkn alike!
