Driving through central PA today and got blasted with this strange noise. It was full quieting for about 75 air miles and the only thing that stopped it was at my final stop was a commercial station overpowering it. Heard it on 104.1 FM but i could also hear it weakly on other frequencies. Seemed to change pitch frequently too. (Filmed in a semi truck, standard Mack FM radio) Any ideas on what I'm hearing? Sounds like a beacon maybe?

Yes, I know. I saw an opening and I had to go there.

I got a chuckle out of it. I understand seeing something laying on the silver platter being irresistible. Although I have read of some truckers that have the other type of ECM with respect to radar.

I would feel if it's the ECM it would be present wherever the truck goes. And I don't think that's the case. However, that is one weird signal.
