I heard late 2015 or early 2016. No sites live as of yet. Another county in NJ will be lost to encryption I suppose.

Wow this stinks! I just don't get why Philly is not encrypted that city has the most crime
When they all get new radios that can do ASTRO® 25 Phase 2 , then they mite.

I'm hearing it will be up and running by September and mobiles and portables were purchased.
The vulchers...I mean vendors were all in town a week or so ago giving their sales pitches to the powers that be. All the usual suspects...Motorola, Harris, Tait, probably a couple others. I suppose anyone with a phase II capable radio was there.:roll:
Going to be a awhile until this system is up and running trust me. Middlesex County here is suppose to turn their new Phase 2 system on the end of this month. Probably still going to take until September or October until the system is running full-time and operational for users. This has been in the works for about 2 years now.
So any updates?
