Has anyone heard any radio traffic for ambulances in metro B'ham?

I found RPS - Regional Paramedical Services has a license WNKU783 using 155.175 and 155.505 Mhz.

Or.... Are they on Southern Link?

RPS communications are primarily on SouthernLINC, however their VHF system is still used occasionally for administrative type comms, and when their dispatch center is unable to raise a unit on the Linc. The UHF side of this system is used for remote links to their tower sites.

Here is what I have logged for their VHF system:

Winston VHF: 155.160 (110.9 PL)
Walker VHF (repeated): 156.225 (162 DPL)
Jefferson VHF: 155.220 (151.4 PL)
St. Claire VHF (repeated): 155.325 (162 DPL)

I haven't attempted to monitor any of these except for the Winston tower in a year or two, so PLs may have changed or some towers may no longer be used. I do know they recently updated the infrastructure at the dispatch center and the Winston tower.

The RPS VHF channel for St. Clair County is used often. Each truck has a dedicated XPR4550 and XPR6550 issued to monitor DMR fire and their own VHF CH. Speaking of, on my way home from vacation this evening while on I-20 East of Anniston I did hear quite a bit of traffic. The St. Clair repeater is pretty powerful.
