What 8* temps do to scanner traffic in Tulsa.

Sure, in the 45 min. or so that I get to monitor TPD, OHP TCSO WCS AND Owasso in the morning not as much as a peep out of anyone until OHP day shift signed on and then all quite again.
Wow.... heat wave. Actual temp was -2 this morning here (NE PA) but wind chill had it down to -12. Unfortunately, scanner traffic soared... at least on Co. FD channel. Somebody was thawing pipes in the basement with a propane torch and.... well, you know the rest of the story. Two alarm, fully involved.
Yesterday Tulsa Fire was much busier than normal, and BACRN-P25 was busy on a channel that i suspect to be BA public works with waterline breaks.But this morning was dead silent.
