These instructions are for programming a conventional frequency, which I do not believe Luis is trying to do.

It actually largely depends on what specific Motorola system you are trying to program. Providing a link to the system in the database or the system name and location would help others be able to help you a lot more.

Generally, you need to PGM - NEW - TGRP and then you create a NEW TSYS with a MOT system of some kind. You will then need to name the system, input the control channels you would like to monitor, and most likely need to reband the system if it's a MOT 800 system.

In order to reband an 800 MHz Motorola system, you need to scroll all the way down in the TSYS menu until you hit T Tables:, switch this to Custom and hit SEL/ENT. Program the following tables:

Table 01
Lo Chan: 440
Hi Chan: 559
Offset: 440
Base: 851.02500
Step: 25.000

Table 02
Lo Chan: 0
Hi Chan: 719
Offset: 0
Base: 851.01250
Step: 25.000[/QUOTE]

After you do this, you can then Save the TSYS and then program the TGRP you would like to monitor.
