What kind of antenna is that on the roof of the truck VHF,UHF,*800 etc

The one toward the front looks like a UHF (450MHz to 470MHz) quarter wave whip while the smaller one toward the rear looks like a quarter wave 800MHz (or 700MHz to 960MHz) whip.

I believe what you are calling the "rear" antenna is in fact the top of the cowl-mounted AM/FM antenna.

The antenna you say that is on the rear is the top of the AM/FM antenna like K6CDO said.
