It's a problem with the new Java 8 platform blocking self-signed applets. They completely removed the "Medium" security setting, and now only allow "High" and "Very High". Broadcastify, in all its genius, STILL has a self-signed security certificate on the Java applet (even though they were made aware of this issue OVER A FRIGGIN YEAR AGO!). Up until the last two Java updates, you could set your security settings to Medium, and it would allow a self-signed applet to run, as long as the user accepted the security warnings.. Now we don't have that option, and the old method of adding broadcastify and radioreference to the exception list doesn't work anymore either.

SO YEAH, BROADCASTIFY.. SPEND 50 BUCKS AND GET A DAMN CERTIFICATE FROM A DAMN CA.

Are you speaking of the java web player? I just ran it and worked for me. Had to allow it but that was it.

Yes, the Java web player. Basically if it's running for you, it means you are running an outdated (and vulnerable) version of Java. If you have updated to Java 8 like you were supposed to several weeks ago it won't work, because version 8 does not allow you to run self-signed applets.
