BURN IN PERIOD?

Hi All.

Did I read somewhere that when you plug in the bcd536hp for the first time, that it should be lplugged in and left on for something like 24 to 48 hours straight to let it burn in? I havent done this yet.

I do not know about burn in, but it dose need to charge its battery so that it will not for get what time it is.

Run the 536hp with the power turned on for 48 hrs to charge the clock battery so it doesn't prompt you to enter the time whenever you turn the scanner on.
