There are RF links connected between Alabama & Mississippi's systems, which tie everyone in the southeast together, for interop. With the mobile equipment staged all around the state, Alabama is in good shape. :)

Back in 98-99 when I was on Jackson County fire, we had a talkgroup for Mobile Co interoperability. Several occasions where we (East Central/Three Rivers) would have to work calls with Seven Hills fire across the state line. Don't know if that's what your looking for, I'm sure SO has the same.

There is an MOU with MS and AL to use issi tg's on the MSWIN and AFRN, and I believe during the GCIC they also have agreements with everyone else to use issi with LWIN, TXWARN, AWIN, not sure if they reached interop agreement with FL SLERS to form the GULFWIN in event of wide area disasters. There are alos interop TG's on MSWIN with coastal AL.
