Plainfield, NJ

I noticed a new tg (NJICS) for Plainfield Narcotic units was recently added to the db. Does this mean that the regular police and fire dispatch will be moving there too? Nothing is indicated under the city listing whether or not a full migration is forthcoming.

Plainfield PD is still operating on the VHF frequency at this time. Same goes for the Fire Dept. The older county radio system that they were using looks to have migrated to NJICS P25 Phase 2 radio system. I doubt however that Plainfield's regular PD dispatch/basic opps will make a move anytime soon. I only speculate this because most ( NOT ALL) of Union Counties Dispatches are still on conventional channels.
