Bessemer PD

I know FD simulcast on VHF but does anyone know if PD simulcast on VHF as well?

Maybe - I occasionally travel through the area. As recently as this afternoon, I have heard repeater traffic on 159.255 (listed in the database as Bessemer PD Ch 3). Judging by the signal characteristics, they are using fairly low power. I will continue to monitor when I'm in the area.

Ok, after listening on several trips to the area, I am reasonably sure that I am hearing the main patrol channel being simulcast on 159.255. As I mentioned earlier, the quality of this signal is such that I am barely able to copy traffic outside the immediate Bessemer area
