Kearny, NJ PD no longer encrypted?

Hey guys, a thread was made under the [New Jersey Incidents and Breaking News] forum that some guys are hearing Kearny Police Department. I've tuned in and can't hear anything. I get silent transmissions and that's all. Something I'm doing wrong or are they back to encrypted?

Kearny PD is still encrypted. They were in the clear for a short time when they transitioned to APX portables. Now they are back to 99% encryption. The only time you hear them in the clear is if someone mistakenly hits the encryption off/on button on the radio.
