Home patrol 2 won't sync

So I just pis chased a home patrol 2 and I'm trying to sync it to Sentinel and when I go to read it nothing happens.

I did install Sentinel the other day before I got the hp2 is that an issue?

If you don't have any FLs programmed, there will be nothing to read. Update Sentinel via the menus, and write that to the scanner. That will update the dB.

Thanks i didnt know the device had to be in "mass storage" to be synced. Can you change the came of of your Custom's 1-8 or are you stuck with Custom 1 ect..

Unfortunately, those tags aren't customizable. I have no idea why not, as it would be trivial to do.
