strange data channel sound on florence new p 25 system

I have noticed a new data channel on the p 25 system in Florence in almost sounds like the old systems data channel but its going at a faster rate and neither scanner of mine will give me a baud rate for it can anyone say what it is

Sounds like "Semaphore" signals.

im not sure what that is but it does sound a lot like the old control channel when the old system was up and running but this time its sound like its at a faster pace and I cant get my scanner neither one of them to give me a baud rate on any mode

I'm not in the area but the frequency might help someone in the area to try and figure it out.

Is it constantly ongoing or just some here and there.

It may be a data only channel used for Mobile Data Terminals (in-car computers), and it can not be monitored as it is encrypted.

yes, that is what I was thinking, we have the MOSCAD (Fire tone out) system in Richland county that puts out data on a talk group whenever a station is toned out, thats why i was wondering if it is constantly ongoing or on and off, but didn't get a response.

yes it was ongoing but it has now been turned back off and also it had changed freqs yesterday it was on 858-2625
