Jacksonville trip

yes this is another trip im taking this time down to Jacksonville nc. so my question is what are some good active military channels to monitor? i have the uscg cap Camp Lenjuen already in but i know they run alot of training down that way so what would be a good list to run?

Well, Camp Lejeune changed to a 380 P25 system that is fully encrypted, so you can't listen to the base anymore. Onslow County changed to a P25 Phase 2 simulcast system, so you'll need a scanner that does TDMA Phase 2 to listen. Otherwise, you can listen to the EMS and County Fire on their old VHF frequencies, but you'll only hear the dispatcher. Those frequencies are only there for paging purposes.

well looks as if the band teacher backed out of the band festival down there so i want be going down that way grrrrrr... but o well i made that file for nothing but i do have it for next year lol
