Anyone had to contact the FCC or other agency about harmful interference?

There is an oilfield gas plant locally that came online and their motors are generating AM RF into the local power lines. Power company is working on it, but from what I am hearing is that utility station is very slow at implementing fixes.

Brining in .gov is the last thing I'd like to do (I like to be a little fair and giving chances) but when those motors are running miles away, its annoying.

Pretty much anything AM and into the HF/MW bands get it.

Try complaining to the local broadcast stations that you cannot listen/watch because of this interference. If they are concerned about losing their audience to interference, they will probably be able to grab the FCC's attention faster than a private citizen can.

I would file the complaint with the FCC now because there's no way to know when they'll be able to investigate.
