CINCINNATI — Hamilton County’s emergency radio system is getting a $14.5 million upgrade, which county officials say will make taxpayers safer even as it lightens their wallets.

They will be a Tier 4 partner of MARCS - IP. Essentially they will be a 'part' of that system just like Butler and Warren Counties. Eventually that system will be Phase II, but that is still quite a aways off from being implemented.
