It sounds like a variant of LTR to me. I haven't listened to or been interested in trunking for several years, when I used to carry a handheld working at OSU. So with new trunking formats it could be something else. Really curious what Terry thinks or knows.

This looks to be the license for the Tier 4 system that Franklin County is building. It will use the MARCS-IP zone controller but will be managed by the County. It is P25 Phase I at the moment. It is listed in the database under MARCS-IP. I do not however see that frequency in the database so maybe its a new one or typo as I do see 853.5125 in the database. Not too sure though.

Not sure who Terry is, but I imagine Tom Swisher, a member here, might be the best person to provide some insight

853.2125 was, or may still be, COTA's data channel. It will probably rollover to the P25 system when COTA switches, if not already.

853.5125 is part of the Franklin County Public Service analog system. All of this system's frequencies will rollover to the P25 system, as some already have.

I thought it was Terry Swisher, WA8PYR. I think that was his call. The last time I spoke to him was about the time that Perry Twp closed up their dispatch office and paired up with Worthington PD for dispatching. He worked for Perry at the time.

It's interesting how different municipalities can bring their own licenses into MARCS ip.
