Hello I just applied for and was accepted for a feed.
There is a device Dave Cameron ( the IRLP guru) provides that attaches to the embedded node.
( on order) this will provide 24/7 coverage. But my feed will show down for about 2 more weeks.
( shipping time to me and also time to get up on the site.)

Will I be removed for being down quite a while in the beginning stages?

The system auto deletes feeds if not online for 21 days.

If you need more time you can ask us to save your feed via the HELP tab of your fern page.

Thanks Richard,

Can I get streaming software for my computer and feed from my radio in the house from the repeater until the Node arrives?

Would using the software effect the set up that Dave Cameron did to set up the feed device that he is shipping? Or would using the software temporarily change the settings.

I don't know the device so I cannot say.

This is the only info I have on the device.

- Internet Streaming Kit (+ $50 US)
- Used to stream your node's audio to an icecast/shoutcast server
- Broadcast your local repeater/node to the world
- DXZone, Broadcastify, Streema, RadioReference
- Sends both sides of the conversation
- Comprised of a USB sound card and resistive audio cable
- Configures easily by manipulating a text file

This device & broadcasting software do the same thing but a bit diff.

The software way needs a computer. The device sounds like a standalone device like a Barex box is.

Doing the software way will not intefeer with the other.
