Have a submission that Grand Junction area public safety has mostly switched over to DTRS. There is a host of VHF channels for the fire districts still in the database, as well as new ones that are in DTRS. Can a local listener advise if the VHF fire tacs are still in use or should be removed from the DB.

The conventional county listing has been updated to reflect the last submission, but if someone local can advise futher that would be great.

I would not remove the VHF fire-tacs especially the outlying volunteer departments at this time. GJFD fire A, B and C can be removed, all of those repeaters have been removed from service, however most of the volunteer departments still have their VHF radios for coordination with the BLM fire units. I still hear an occasional radio check and use of the old channels for training and coordination.
