Anyone from our NC forum going to RARSfest this weekend?

If so let's try to coordinate on a talk-in frequency.

My APX 7000 VHF/700/800 has room for an analog or P25 simplex frequency.

RARSfest - The Raleigh Hamfest

Hope to see you there!

I will be monitoring 146.520Mhz and 147.570Mhz if anyone wishes to QSO.

I will only be bringing UHF DMR, as that is what my friends have. Haven't convinced them to all jump on the P25 bandwagon yet.

If you see me and I miss you, yell at me and say hello.

I'm going. Taking the family.

Not sure if I'm going to carry an HT. If so, it will be on 146.52, or since it's a dual band, 146.520 and 446.000

Neill
Hope to see you there Neill!

Motorola XPR 7550 isn't a bad choice, of course the CS 700 would be excellent in terms of keeping the initial acquisition cost down as well. Looking forward to hearing you on DMR, especially NC-PRN. Oh and I do have codeplugs for each radio!
