Is that list from the Wiki Mike? I have a few changes I can give you but I don't want to derail this thread.

Cornwall All Traffic, P25, Encrypted AES256 Motorola. You can add 143.400 MHz. to 142.035 MHz. Never heard 141.585 MHz. simplex since they went to P25 digital. Doesn't mean it's not still in their radios.

Hey, let me know when it happens and I'll update the list:

Code:
Owen Sound Police Service Grey All traffic Voice inversion
South Simcoe Police Service Simcoe All Traffic NXDN
Owen Sound isn't using voice inversion. They use NXDN 15 bit scrambling, exactly like South Simcoe PS does.

Just because some manufacturer/vendor decides to call it voice inversion, it doesn't make it so. All digital voice encryption (NXDN scrambling/ADP/DES/AES/...) randomly jumbles the bits. There is no inversion around a center frequency like there is in analog encryption. Next we'll be hearing that Germany's Enigma machines used ROT13...

Neither link shows Ottawa as Encrypted. They are listed as Digital on Provoice system.. doesnt mean they are encrypted just because a Uniden scanner cant listen to them.

I'm not sure what they are running on the new P25 system as Im not in the area. They probably will be encrypted but has it been verified yet?

Ottawa is not encrypted on the EDACS system.

Ottawa is not encrypted on the EDACS system. There are a few encrypted talk groups, but most are in the clear.
Guess we will just have to wait and see when they switch over to P25, but I am expecting encryption, and getting used to the idea of not listening anymore.

I wouldn't exactly call NXDN "proper" encryption - it uses a 15 bit key, so there are just under 33 thousand possible keys. Even a computer from 10 years ago would only need a few minutes to brute force that.

Correction

For Windsor this TGID is said to be encrypted but it is not.

18 012 E City TAC City Tactical

That PD TGID 18 is not encrypted. Its a City wide tac open to all city TGIDs for them to reach Police or Fire if needed from their radios.

Some groups on EDACS96 2 Ottawa (867.7125) are now:
342, 343, 348, 354, 355 is busy lately, 356, 361, 362, 363, 366, 370.
I've been wondering what are 31 & 32?

I'd let you know about 822F (Fleetnet zone 2)and 16B7E-02E (P25) but it's too live to leave!

By Oxford police I presume you mean Woodstock... And they are already on the list.

Guelph with ADP? Is that on their new system? Cuz ADP no worky on Fleetnet.

London Police can be updated to P25 AES, and Aylmer Police can be added (MotoTRBO Enhanced Privacy).

Add Thunder Bay police edacs provoice to the list. They are converting to P25 early next year and will likely remain encrypted. It remains to be seen if fire will stay in the clear when they join the P25 system.

NXDN ENC.

In the case of the Bracebridge Fire and Roads department they went NXDN ENC last year. When I listen to their two repeater sites the audio has the old Donald duck sound you can almost make out what their saying.
In the old analog days when they used inversion we just turned the BFO up and you would be able to clear up the audio. Would this Donald Duck sound indicate some type of simple inversion? Now I do realize digital is a whole new ball game just some nostalgia kicking in.
