FCC Updates 4/12

New Ambulance Service for Hawkins County:

Lifeguard Ambulance has an new Lic - WQVN586
153.9050 Input
155.5200 Output
FMN Repeater in Rogersville at Town Knob.

The City of Memphis making big changes to their portion of the Memphis/Shelby County TRS....

Removing the following frequencies:

860.2375 thru 860.9625 from all sites.

Will be updating the DB asap.
EDIT - Apparently this is another case of the FCC being way behind? LOL!

Well thanks for the heads up. I'll see if I can get a PL code for Lifeguard Ambulance.

By the way 155.5200 71.9PL is Grainger Co Highway Dept which is the next county over to the west and apparently it's Bristol Police Temp Rptr which is the next county over to the east. Looks like they would have chosen a different frequency.

Bristol Police are on the Sullivan County Trunk, they probably do not use the vhf anymore.

I may be out of range because I havent heard anything. I even tried the input freq and nothing. I can receive most of Hawkins Co so maybe they just arent using it.

Their license expired in 2013:

Maybe they are no using it any longer. Check and see...

I meant I havent heard Lifestar Ambulance in Hawkins Co.

Grainger Co Hwy Dept were active as of 1-7-15. I assume they still are. It isnt the most active frequency but only during normal county working hours.

LSA may not have the repeater active yet, but they do have the new LIC.. Could go online any time... Especially as FCC is so far behind it seems.
