Recently, I have been hearing the chiefs asking incoming units to switch to "Victor Fire 22" or other similar frequencies. My question is this. Is there a listing of what these Victor frequencies equate to? I've searched everywhere but can't seem to come up with such a list. I'm sure the Victor designation simply refers to a VHF frequency.

I have found that Victor Fire 22 appears to be 154.265 and Victor Fire 26 to be 154.3025 based on a couple recent fire responses I have monitored.

Not that anyone seems to care but I have found the answer to my "very old question" regarding Victor Fire Channels designations. It appears they are now called "Valley Fire" here in the Carson Valley (Douglas County, NV). The designations that I have been able to decipher are as follows:

  • Valley Fire 21 - White Fire 1 - 154.280
  • Valley Fire 22 - White Fire 2 - 154.265
  • Valley Fire 23 - White Fire 3 - 154.295

Vfire mutual aid freqs with nv statewide blanket license shows mobile use however i hear base radios as well.
154.2650 WQAY896 MO 156.7 VFIRE-22 MUTUAL-AID NV STATEWIDE
154.2800 WQAY896 MO 156.7 VFIRE-21 MUTUAL-AID NV STATEWIDE
154.2950 WQAY896 MO 156.7 VFIRE-23 MUTUAL-AID NV STATEWIDE
154.3025 ............... MO 156.7 VFIRE-26 MUTUAL-AID NV STATEWIDE

This is a combination i have heard often 800 mhz crossband with WCRCS and NSRS EDACS
154.2650 KGK541 RM 100.0 VFIRE-22 NLTFPD INCLINE VILLAGE (800 MHZ WCRCS X-BAND)
154.2800 KGK541 RM 100.0 VFIRE-21 NLTFPD INCLINE VILLAGE (800 MHZ WCRCS X-BAND)

This combination is not confirmed but it makes sense to me in case of interop w WCRCS NSRS radios
154.2950 WQOA702 RM .........VFIRE-23 EFFPD T.R.E. STATION 4 (800 MHZ CROSS-BAND?)
155.4900 WQOA702 RM .........???????? EFFPD T.R.E. STATION 4 (800 MHZ CROSS-BAND?)

I put wrong freq for EFFPD North/South it should be:
151.2350 MHz 136.5 CTCSS is correct
151.3250 MHz 136.5 CTCSS is wrong my mistake

And input for leviathan 155.7750 MHz excepts D172 and 100.0 CTCSS i would assume for radios that cant do DCS and CTCSS? or making it simple for programability for mutual aid? thats only a guess and i really dont know why.
