Yes I replaced em on my ole 8500. Essentially the same units. 8500 models had a transistor display problem, hopefully it was fixed for the 9000.

I think I found a supply bulb and twist lock base. Ordered a few to see. Will post back when they arrive.

Those look like the type for automobile instrument clusters. It would be neat if they work and you can change the color of the display with filter caps on the bulbs. I was thinking of using LEDs in mine. My bulbs are still working though. I don't know the actual size of these. If they are tiny though, I think they are called Rice bulbs.
4 mm It's the same base, I hope they work.
The ones I got in were too big. About 1.5 mm too big. I thought 14 volts would work OK NOT! they barely lit. I guess about 6 volt bulb would work. Keep looking.
