I'm helping somebody program a radio to monitor the Bergen County P25 sytem. He needs the channel ID table/base frequencies to get his radio to trunk. I cannot find any information on this online and I am not in range of the system to decode it with pro96com. He has no computer interface other than a 3.5mm audio cable and I don't think there is a sure fire way to decode a CC with just audio.

Please advise if you have the tables or can decode them quick.

Thank you!

Update: After more searching I found these and we will test them out now to see if they work.

The Input Offset column:
for 450 Mhz should be 5.0 Mhz
for 470 Mhz should be 3.0 Mhz
for 500 Mhz should be 3.0 Mhz

Make sure you set it for C4FM. I don't believe they upgraded to CQPSK. Also, the Alpine and Mahwah "sites" or clusters share some control channels. So make sure you only program those once. Also the county is running ADP full time so you may want to disregard the County PD, Sheriff, Prosecutor talk groups. Unless he's authorized. Don't know if you're going the non affiliate method.

For older Radio Shack and GRE radios that need tables:

Code:
-------------------------------------------------
  Low High Base Step /
 Chan Chan Offset Frequency Spacing
-------------------------------------------------
    0 4095 0 851.00625 6.25
 4096 8191 4096 762.00625 6.25
 8192 12287 8192 450.00000 6.25
[COLOR=Green]12288     16383     12288     470.00000     6.25[/COLOR]
16384 20479 16384 500.00000 6.25
For older Uniden radios that require band plans:

Code:
------------------------------------------------
Lower Base Upper Base Step /
Frequency Frequency POL Offset Spacing
------------------------------------------------
851.00625 868.98750 + 0 6.25
762.00625 787.60000 + 4096 6.25
450.00000 475.59375 + 8192 6.25
[COLOR=Green]470.00000     495.59375     +     12288     6.25[/COLOR]
500.00000 512.00000 + 16384 6.25
From what I can tell, the lines above in green are the only ones used.

Thank you!!! I've been looking for something like that to put into a Pro-96 for when I'm back home. Do you know if this will work for all T-Band trunking (like Fort Lee)?

Unfortunately, they are all a little different. You need a copy of the TowerXXXXXX.txt file created by Pro96Com in order to write a table/band plan.

As Signal-Zero stated, many talk groups on this system are encrypted, so you may want to check the database before investing a lot of time in programming the system and it's table.

can anyone confirm the control channels?

I have it set as C4FM and I've made n2nov's corrections for the offset but I still can't hear anything.

Verified by Unitrunker....

Alpine cluster control channels:
472.7125
477.1875
477.2125 (current active control mahwah)
477.5125 (current active control alpine)
478.5875

Mahwah cluster control channels:
472.2250
472.3250
472.9000
477.2125 (current active control mahwah)
477.5125 (current active control alpine)

As you can see, the control channels are repeated on each others clusters so only program that once and just add all the control channels as one site.

Talkpair,

Do you have these tables for older radio shack and uniden scanners for the
Metro 25 system in New York ? the RR database doesn't list those tables.

Thank You

I don't.

I'll contact you via PM since discussion of that system doesn't belong in this thread.

Just to keep this System updated - sort of
Teaneck has finally contracted with the County for 911 calls - ? There are several other 911 answering points operating - how is it working out that a 911 call instead of going directly to a Dept who takes a the call form the 911 PSAP is the county going to directly dispatch them?
also County met with Rockland County to maybe discuss having access to Rockland as a subscriber unit?
