Over the past two weekends, while visiting in St. Clair County, I overheard AST radio traffic on 154.920 and I could hear the dispatcher responding over the same frequency. Was I hearing the dispatcher via bleed-over from another channel or was I actually hearing both sides of the traffic on the same channel? If so, this would be a first for me in Alabama.

Yes, most posts are now on repeaters. You were probably hearing one of Birmingham State's repeaters.

Mr. MetroFire - Howdy! Glad to hear you traveled into ALA. I moved from Lagrange to Bham area. Just outside Liberty Park in JeffCo jurisdiction. Hope you are doing great. :)
