BCD436HP Control Channel Display?

When scanning a P25 system in my favorites list, is there a way to display what frequency is being used as the control channel? I currently have multiple frequencies listed in a site and would like to delete the frequencies that are not used for control channel purposes.

It would be a nice update to the scanner but the database here should list CC and the ALT CC for the systems

In short, no, there is not currently.

Are you sure you want to do that? Any of the frequencies can be the control channel for P25 systems, so it would be a good idea to program all of the licensed frequencies for the system.

Not true. The control channel can be any frequency up to 4 of them. The Primary and Alternate control channels are usually listed in the RR database.

On the DMR scanners the CC frequency is displayed while the radio is scanning and changes to the VC when stopped on a TG. I thought the 436 did the same but I could be wrong.

There is no harm in having all the frequencies in the radio, and it is actually I good idea just in case the CC should change.
