DSD+ 1.080T Lock out feature problem

I have a NEXEDGE48 System I am monitoring and have been Locking out talkgroups by going into the DSDPlus.radios file and changing Normal to L/O.

If try to lockout talkgroups in the Channel Activity window, it will not lock out any, I right click and in the event.log window it says override set to high and if I left click it says in the event.log window override set to low but I can not get it to L/O in the Channel Activity window.

When I lock out talkgroups in the DSDPlus.radios file even after I lock out some of the talkgroups they are not locked out, I would say the vast majority of the talkgroups I lock out are L/O, Am I using the lock out feature wrong ??.

You should be able to keep right clicking on it till it cycles to L/O or you can edit the DSDPlus.groups file and lock it out in it.

it will not change to L/O if I keep clicking on it, and I am locking out the talkgroups from DSDPlus.groups but some of the talkgroups are not being locked out for some reason, I'm running Windows 8.1 on my computer, maybe I should delete the program and reinstall and see if that will fix the problem also clean out my registry.

Just looked at your video and this is exactly what I am doing, also I am using a scanner with a discriminator tap.

OK I think I found the problem. First I am running Windows 8.1, I am running DSD+ with a scanner and discriminator tap. When I go into my DSDPlus.radios file this is what it's saving you will notice that it's saving every Talkgroup but it's also saving all the RID'S radio Id's that are associated with the talkgroup. I re-installed the program but still am having the problem, I do not see a file that just has a list of talkgroups, like

So I can go in and lock out the talkgroup the other file is DSDPluse.events but no file saving a list of talkgroups.

Let me make sure of a couple of things

You are feeding your scanner disc output to the Linein/Micin to DSDplus and that dsd you are passing the option -rc

You are also running FMP with a SDR Dongle and the output is going to a virtual audio cable to the input of another instance of DSDplus and it is using the -rv option

Also when you start FMP you have pressed v to put it in voice following mode.

I have a scanner with a discrimiator tap, I lock out the CC frequencies and scan all the other frequencies in the system. Also this is a NEXEDGE 48 SYSTEM. Also DSD+ is not making a dsdplus.groups file.

You have to have the other things I mentioned to be able to trunk and lockout. By using the scanner you are not having to run 2 sdr/dongles and 2 FMP's. Just one scanner 2 DSDplus and one FMP and a VAC.

I have been running dsd+ for so long by locking out the control channel and just scanning the voice channel I forgot it won't work that way, I just unlocked the control channels and it's working OK, I can lockout the talkgroups now, the only thing is I have know audio, can I just download the free VAC software and then set that up and also run FMP.

The control signal source can be any NFM receiver whose flat audio is piped to
DSD+ via a mic or line in input, or an SDR device (DVB-T dongle, Airspy, etc.)
whose demodulated audio is piped to DSD+ via Virtual Audio Cable or VB-Cable.

[I][COLOR="Blue"]The voice channel source [B]must[/B] be a DVB-T dongle that is being controlled by FMP.
FMP's audio output must be routed to DSD+ via VAC or VB-C.[/COLOR][/I]

Sample batch files that run CC and VC copies of FMP and DSD+ are provided;
they should be modified to match your specific monitoring setup.

You can download the free VB-Audio Virtual Cable but you will still need to use a usb rtl dongle (that is hooked to a antenna)

First I want to thank you for all the help you have provided me and the time, I just downloaded the VB-AUDIO CABLE, I do have a Dongle but i uninstalled it so I am going to have to re-install the dongle again also. Then I will set up the .bat files and give it a try, can't do it today Windows is installing a whole lot of stuff and I have to get out and cut the grass, Again Ak4fn thanks for all the help.

Windows finished updating it's self and I finished cutting the grass, I have SDR# software on my computer now and the dongle is working like a charm, I have the VB software installed and showing in my sound card set up so I think all I have to do is get the .bat files set up with the information now.
