I've finally upgraded to Windows 8.1 via Bootcamp and have set up all my favorites including SDR#, DSDPlus, ADSB#, etc. I'm having more of a hardware issue with my RTL dongle and Airspy and USB. Seems like the USB kernel doesn't like to play nice with these devices and seems like something is in use whenever I try to connect. An example is ARC-XT and not recognizing my Uniden. I turned of the power management option in advanced settings for USB ports. Turned off firewall just in case. Are there some other configurations I need to know about with Windows 8.1 and USB devices?
