And a small part is in Weld County.

Indeed, quite a bit of it slops over County Line Road to the east. Offhand, I'd guess 20~25% of the city's entire land mass is out there. The Longmont/Boulder firing range and a couple of other facilities are located back behind the new fire station out there at CR5 south of 119. Union Reservoir and Sandstone Ranch are also on the other side of County Line. More of it is in Weld than Google or any other non-city maps show.
