From a Minneapolis native who travels that way regularly:

Name: Rich
Location: Louisville
Equipment: Uniden 536 (x2), 396XT
Listen to: Minneapolis Police and Fire, all other fire stuff I can get and Minnesota State Patrol. When I go farther up north, I listen to everything in Polk County and Grand Forks.

Been listening since late 1960s on tuneable radio.

(Also listen pretty much every day to JohnMoe's excellent feed along with Dave in Minneapolis' feed)

Scanner: HP1
Listen to: Duluth Police, State Patrol, Gold Cross, Duluth Fire, other area law enforcement and sometimes aircraft from DLH and Minneapolis Center. Duluth Simulcast. Use a 1/4 wave 800mhz mini mag antenna. The reception can be hit and miss, but a lot better then the stock antenna. It's sometimes very frustrating as many of you know scanning simulcast systems. It seems like I'm still trying to find that antenna with 100% reception. Weather has a lot to do with it I've found out.

Law1
Law3
Law4
Info1
State Patrol (which is more entertaining in the winter)
Duluth Fire
Local Hospitals
Gold Cross
Used to listen to Douglas County(WIS). Encrypted now for the most part, except sheriff and fire.
