I have no idea but I'll bet you'll get better answers in the Maine forum rather than the Marine forum.

Next time, please pay more attention to where you're posting. Thanks.

Maine SP are on the MSCOMMNET trunk system. You will need a P25 trunking-capable scanner to follow MSCOMMNET, however there are 16 repeaters around the state that repeat the primay State Police talkgroup for that area in analog mode. What is your location?

thanks for the reply, sorry it wasn't located on the correct Web Site

I am located in the north east corner of Cumberland county, south west of Lewiston about, aka, North Raymond.

Their cruiser's

I have not had the chance to see many of their patrol mobile's,
not since COMMNET took off.
Well, while in Portsmouth-
getting onto 95 north from the direction of the sub,
I was stopped by all the traffic coming from the other direction to get onto 95 north
I then saw the -older- make of 1 of their cruiser's.
This is what I was wonderring---
their new antenna set - up..
There were 2 whips on the trunk, and 1 -- regular 16 inch vhf on the roof.
I tried to catch him for a better look,
but mayhem was a-foot--I-O-W,
95 north was packed. 35 mph over the high rise.
So, I am guessing they have 3 radio's now?

Could have been somebody driving a surplus cruiser and put those antennas on it (if so I hve seen hime before), I haven't seen them driving a Vic in a while, almost all new Interceptors now. The MSP cars I've seen have had a VHF 1/2 wave and 800 MHz low-profile (for the mobile repeater) on the roof, and that's it.

I loaded the Maine State Police RR database in my 436.
Saved it in my favorites list.
Driving from York to Bar Harbor this weekend.
Hoping it works!

I did not load MSCOMNET, just the State Police.
I will load it and try it next time.
Thanks

You mean, you loaded the old analog system?
That's why I do it by hand.
I know what is where.
Try it, it may take time.
But it is guaranteed to be there when you push ENTER for the last time.
I've done it to 5 of the semi-latest p25 scanners.
Good luck..

Yes, I loaded the State Police listed in the RR data base.
If it is old, then it should be removed.
I now have MSCOMNET in there, will test it next time I travel.

Trying to set-up a system in MSComm and all the talkgroups show the same location and 186 mile radius so there is no real way to program by GPS for the TG's...
