Yeah, that 400 MHz frequency is in the federal range. It cannot be correct Unless they are illegally using the frequency.

Men,

The Bamboo has alluded me for years, I can't even confirm if they carry radios.

On the Sunrise the radios where just issued to there employees on Thursday and
they ARE NOT a tone at all.

These are cheap little ham radio something on the order of a TYT anyway
they have a channel B as 130.0000 but heard nothing on that channel B.

I asked where they got the radios from and you Jersey Shore guys may know
the local guys much better then me but the owner told my Jazz Communications ??

Did a google search and came up with nothing.

Nothing heard on Lavallette Beach Patrol I might be just out of reach.
Will give the BamBoo another shot when I am back a week in
late August.

Take Care

Tony

Fish Finders?

Glad Tony is so productive while on vacation!

I'll note 130.3000 for the banner plans....been looking for that one!

On a similar vein......I recall having an airplane to marine frequency some time back, the small plane would fly at a given height above the ocean and they could spot schools of fish and relay it to the fishing boats. I read about it else where, and its the real deal, in fact I think its an illegal practice- not sure who's out there enforcing it though? Anybody else heard of this locally and have the frequencies?

Anyone know the frequencies for the Casino Pier? My Son works there and I'd like to listen.

Thanks

If someone can help out with the data base, that would be awesome, never was too sure how to submit my finding they always come back to me as rejected so I don't bother submitting information so I share what I find here and I hope I am helping my radio brothers out.

When I am down the sure I can never forget my radio brother Mike Bellina from Toms River First Aid.
back in the day me and Mike compared notes much like today when I had the pleasure to talk radio
and a nice tour of Station 44 with Elias from RR.

I will be back down at the end of August for a week I will try to confirm Bamboo and look for new
and exciting data along the boards.

The federal 400 MHz frequency range is 406.1 - 420 MHz.

406.1 - 410 MHz Fixed, Mobile/Radio Astronomy
410 - 420 MHz Fixed/Mobile/Space Research (space - space)
