I am fixing to head out for Myrtle Beach Saturday.

What talkgroups are Horry County Fire/Rescue using.

I know in the database they list new and old.

Just trying to see which ones I need to program in the old scanner

Any help would greatly be appreciated

Thanks

David

All the ones that say new next to them are the ones you want. Those old ones aren't used anymore and haven't been since 2011.

I don't know if you're familiar with how they dispatch but Myrtle Beach Fire will be toned on both HCFR and MBFD channels. MBFD will use their own channels for response and you'll hear medic units on both channels. If you haven't read the wiki I'd recommend it.

I've been in Myrtle Beach the past 3 days and I've got to go home to Aiken today :(
