Glen Rock New Jersey Police Frequency

I have a baofeng UV-5R and I have programmed 158.730000 into my radio and all i get is static.

I live in Glen Rock, NJ. Have they switched to a different freq.?

I have 158.730000 which is Northwest Bergen Central Dispatch and said to cover Glen Rock and Ridgewood New Jersey Police Departments. I live in Glen Rock, and on scan, I only get only periodic static.

Is there a different channel that GPD operates on?

He just said above your comment that they went P25 on their existing frequency. You aren't going to be able to hear them with that Baofeng anymore.

Interesting. I was just looking over the WPIW837 license. Seems they've made several significant errors. The database indicates dual mode, but they are only licensed for P25. They also licensed SPEN 1 and 2 for P25 only. They should have also included 11K2F3E on their frequencies.

Glen Rock PD has been P25 since November of 2014. FD is still analog on 154.3100.
