Does anyone know where AMR Collin and Dallas County went? silence as of today.

Not confirmed but my guess is maybe they went on a DMR system or something along that line. Your right though, the 453.175 Dallas channel has no traffic.

AMR Collin County was active this morning around 0530hrs while one my way in to work.

I have heard tone outs on Collin co. Channel, but nothing else.

I don't monitor the Dallas channel but Collin County has been business as usual.

Perhaps they are using MDTs or texting the assistant's phone. I've ridden in private ambulances where everything was done by laptop (dispatch/reports/general comms).

Collin County has gone to a voiceless dispatch system similar to acadian.

The crews are alerted on their unit phone and go to the MDT in the truck for communications.

This is directly from a supervisor.

Well i heard AMR Dallas on their Dallas channel 453.175 Friday night from 6p to 10p. The odd thing is from 3p to 6p i heard nothing on the channel. I had a radio dedicated on the channel and not scanning.
The other odd thing is all units sounded scratchy or staticy accept the dispatcher who was crystal clear. Very odd.
