trying to import the control channels from pro scan with the box checked import control channels only and select import and i still get the entire system with all the talkgroups. Any idea?

You will still get all the talkgroups (you want this). What changes is it does not import all the frequencies - only the control and alternates.

Control Channels are frequencies and not the same as Talk Groups. Before hitting the Import button, uncheck the Talk Groups you don't want imported.

Yeah idea how to get metadata to output with this new usb to micro usb. It keeps asking me for serial data but this isn't a serial cable. Is there s setting I can switch on the software or in the 996p2 scanner.
