I have a not that old and in really good condition BCD396XT and the speaker went out on me about a month after I got it. Is there any way to get this thing fixed?

It may be just the ext ear/sp jack. Try inserting and removing the earphone a few times to 'clear' the speaker disconnect contact in the jack.

@ CMDRWILL It is definitely no the ear phone jack because I have to use it now to listen to the scanner.

@ ALWAYSLOOKIN is there any number that you know of?

Using an earphone does not prove the bypass is re-engaging when the earphone is not plugged it. Try what the CMDR said.

One last recommendation: check the speaker contacts themselves. They may be causing the issue.
