Unknown CAP+ System In Philly Area 454 MHz

The other day I came across a 4 frequency (8 channel) Motorola Capacity Plus system in the 454 Part 22 range. I picked it up with 5 bars from my abode near State and Lansdowne in Upper Darby. Since I was running DSD+ I was able to get 3 talkgroups but unable to determine what kind of traffic they were carrying. The frequencies and talkgroups are listed below.

1/2 = 454.01875 (CC=8)
3/4 = 454.16875 (CC=9)
5/6 = 454.36875 (CC=10)
7/8 = 454.64375 (CC=11)

TG=119
TG=144
TG=120

Any idea who this is?

The Triangle system seems to like the 6.25 kHz splinter channels in the 454 MHz area for control channels. They also like to use different color codes on each Site with the sites representing the color code used (or site - increments of 16 for sites higher than 15 - see below).

Odds are very high that's who it is.

Did some monitoring this evening and picked up even more talkgroups for this system. Was able to listen to the activity and heard the keyword "Rocky Steps." A little more listening revealed this system was being used by crews working on constructing the Papal Stage at the Art Museum. Sounds like this could very well be either a rental system or a temporary system set up just for this event. All talkgroups I got ranged from 100 to 146 but not inclusive.

This could be owned by Triangle but it is not part of their Connect Plus system but rather an independent Cap Plus system.

Green Communication in Pottsville uses the 454mhz band for LTR system up in Schuylkill Co but you never know if he was able to contract the event may be.

been hearing a strong control channel 454.2125 which never picked up before Lehigh Valley?

I would love to see some more site info for Triangle for sites 1-26 and 30+

Next time I'm on one of the hilltops, I'll see what else I can find from the western side of it. I should be able to get as far east as State College and Bedford.

On the system in question, the NID would go a long way toward confirming or denying that it was the Triangle Trbo system that was being monitored (it uses NID 141).

This system referred to in this thread is NOT a Triangle Connect Plus site (System 141). This system was a Capacity Plus system. Being that most of the activity around the Papal Visit is done it appears the activity on this system has died out. I'll see if I pick up anything later on but I doubt it.

I wonder if it's still on the air... maybe it was a temp system. They had lots of temporary systems for the G20 summit in PGH.
