New bls ambulance unit in Delaware County Pa

Fyi as of this morning 85-7 is the Villanova university ems ambulance. They will be using the county id of 85-7 and are a bls transport unit they will operate on the ems west channel when on fireboard.

VEMS has always been in service. Not really sure what made them finally get a county ID or whether it was the county or VEMS that decided on doing it. The EMS west channel you are referring to is Med B. Not sure if they will also be using Chester County radio as well but if they do they would be on the East Fire channel.

I am betting the county had something to do with it.
