Since when did WHFD start having tones befor medical dispatches is that part of this new radio dispatch since CMED's not here? funny thing is the tones were literally the same tones used on emergency (old tv show). This is happening on 453.800 lately (and it's not the paging tone outs. I have those

I seem to remember them being on the low band channel and not on UHF maybe they used to be muted on UHF and not longer i know utility has taken over there communication system

46.50 simulcast 453.800 for the most part. Alot of the pagers and plectrons are still on 46.50 and of course this am there are no tones

the 46.50 must be real low power too. i can not even hear it past east haven and thats with a low band radio with a real low band antenna

I think 46.50 is only 50 watts or less from what I was told, but don't hold me to that.
