auto fill for passwords

I have 98 second edition, win 7, and win 8 computers. How do I make passwords auto fill after I input username and hit tab? Also win7 and win 8 have very short lists of web sites visited in the drop down. Can I make the list very long like on my 98 computer?

Password Autofill is not a function of Windows.
It is part of your Browser. What are you using for a Browser and what Version
