I have been monitoring Phoenix Police, and have noticed there is hardly anything being picked up....and also seems to be using Simulcast B. I have tried numerous settings for simulcast A, and B, but don't seem to be picking up much.

I am having the same issue with my work office scanner, but I am just scanning simulcast A, maybe I'll plug in simulcast B.

The might have begun migrating some talkgroups to Simulcast B. I noticed a lot of activity on Simulcast B in the last few days. If you are not already monitoring Simulcast B, be sure to add it as a site. Within the next few months Simulcast A is taken offline for maintenance and migration to 700mhz frequencies.

I do have all the simulcast sites programmed in, but am still receiving very little. I am located near 27th Ave and Camelback and run the Phoenix Police Feed on here. Its the same on all my scanners.

Everything has moved to the New Sim B. Control Channel= 770.83125 Alternate= 771.13125 Alternate= 771.18125 Alternate=771.43125
And yes, Sim A is operating on B also.

I have noticed the same reduction in traffic from the fire TGs as well. Guess I have put it off long enough and need to program the new Sim B channels..LOL

PHX PD

In the far north end of Peoria I am receiving PHX PD on Simulcast "G" West Valley for 200, 800 and 900 dispatches. Receiving poor audio on Simulcast B for 400, 500, 600 and 700 dispatches. Tri band antenna on roof, 50' LMR400.

I have noticed the same issues with reception of PHX PD. Last night I decided to reprogram my CCs as I wasn't picking up anything. I live in North PHX in the Carefree HWY area so I've programmed in the control and alternate channels for:

Simulcast B
North Mountain High
Thompson Peak
White Tanks

I am using a PRO 106 scanner and I've set the "Multi-Site" function to YES and "Check All CC" to YES. I've found that the locked-on CC has changed a few times just today but 771.43125 has been consistent so far. Analyzing the TSYS frequency list, I see:

771.43125 (Simulcast B Alternate Channel) Very variable reception - 20% - 80% but has been locked here.
772.01875 (Thompson Peak High) Fairly stable reception 70% - 99%

Do folks with other radios have the ability to scan all CCs? Does this help? Normally, I don't have these turned on but those were in days of more stable, predictable CCs. Interested to hear your results.
