BCT15: Why do I have a higher firmware version than offered

Everywhere I looked I see that version 1.06.00 is current.
My BCT15 is telling me I have 1.07.03

Any ideas?

Are you sure it's a BCT15 and not a BCD996XT?

Well slap my face, and call me stupid. Dang-it. Brought it into the house while my vehicle (where the radio resides)is in the shop and decided to do the firmware check. It looks like the BCT15 and I went with that.
