Freedom Tower

Does anybody know if you are allowed to bring a Scanner or two way radio inside the freedom Tower and what frequency do they use

Not sure why you can't as long as you pass through security like everyone else.

Keep in mind when you are so high up you will have problems with strong transmitters all around the city overloading your scanner, which will lead to pretty miserable listening

You'll be looking a long time if you're trying to find the Freedom Tower! That name was dropped a long time ago from a tower that is now named 1 World Trade Center.

Transmitter location for the above is 4 World Trade Center. You might start with these and see if they are also used at One World Trade Center.

There was only one 1 World Trade Center and, shamefully, it was never rebuilt. Therefore I too will forever call that building that's there now the "Freedom" Tower.

Unfortunately I will have to go there again when I do not have a big crowd just me and my girlfriend I want to going she want to go and nobody else wanted to go with so I had to show them around the city in boy that line long I had no idea you had to get in line for tickets

There were long lines for the former WTC, too. Try to go early in the day, before lunch and it will (hopefully) be less crowded.

A lot of tourists are in town right now for the holidays. Go back in January.
