DSD+ and Scannercaster config question

Thanks to everyone who has posted how-to items on here, I fairly quickly set up decoding for a local Mototrbo feed and got it posted to Broadcastify. Just one glitch I'm trying to figure out, and hope maybe someone can point out an obvious solution I'm missing.

I've liked the two programs with the free version of VB Audio Cable. All works.

But is there a way to make it so the scanner traffic can still be heard on my laptop? Local sound ended when I configured the VB Audio Cable app and I don't see a way to restore it and keep the stream flowing to Broadcastify? Willing to buy the full version of VB audio, if anyone can guide me on what I'd do next that would be relatively assured of working.

How you get there will vary depending on your version of windows... but basically go into your sound properties / recording devices... go to VBCable... and there should be a checkbox in it's properties along the lines of 'listen to this device'.
